Looking back on the InterWeighing2025

April 26-28, 2025 - The highly anticipated InterWeighing2025 was successfully held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center.

This exhibition attracted 346 exhibitors with an exhibition area of over 23000 square meters. Compared to InterWeighing2024, the number of exhibitors has increased by 30% and the exhibition area has significantly increased by 47%. The most notable feature of this exhibition is the substantial growth in international professional attendees from outside China. The vibrant international ambiance characteristic of previous InterWeighing has been markedly restored, as fervently hoped for by exhibitors.

According to incomplete statistics, this exhibition has recorded nearly 10,000 professional visits, with over 12% originating from outside China.

This exhibition has attracted substantial attention and engagement from international organizations and institutions across the globe. Dr. Bobjoseph Mathew, the President of International Organization of Legal Metrology (OIML) attended this exhibition and delivered a opening speech. The organizations including European Weighing Industry Association (CECIP ), National Council on Weights and Measures (NCWM), Japan Measuring Instruments Federation (JMIF), French National Metrology Institute, Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology, Korea Association of Standards and Testing Institutions, and Weighing Industry Associations from Australia (WIAA) dispatched representatives to participate in this exhibition. NCWM, JMIF, and the French National Metrology Institute also participated as exhibitors.

During the exhibition period, an informal meeting of the Preparatory Committee for the 2026 International Conference of Weighing (ICW) was concurrently held. Twenty-one representatives from organizations including the CWIA, CECIP, JMIF, OIML, BIML, and NCWM, … jointly discussed matters related to the 2026 International Weighing Conference scheduled to take place in Japan from June 8 to 10, 2026.

Since 1995, China Weighing Instrument Association has successfully organized 28 editions of China International Weighing Instrument Exhibition in cities including Beijing, Chengdu, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Qingdao, Changsha, Nanjing, Dongguan (Guangdong), and Wuhan.

After years of careful cultivation, the scale and influence of InterWeighing have been growing steadily. Today, InterWeighing has become the world's largest and highest international quality professional weighing instrument exhibition. The annual InterWeighing event has become the most grand annual industry event in the world. InterWeighing has strengthened the economic and technological exchanges and cooperation among the international weighing industry circles, and has helpfully promoted the development of global weighing products trade.

The InterWeighing2026 has been scheduled to be held in Hangzhou in April 2026.
